Good movie, but what really killed it for me is they animated almost every ant's face the same. Yes they are suppose to be a collective species rather than individuals, but this is a movie. They should've made the girl ants especially the important ones more attractive and obvious they are girls. If you take away the voices you wouldn't be able to tell if they were a girl or guy.

You're strange, stranger-than-fiction.
The lead character ants are all caricatures of the voice-over artists. Hadn't you noticed? Look at Colonel Cutter; he's Christopher Walken. He has those weird eyes with too much light in them, and he can fly.

I think that's what makes the film great! Finally something that can be done with non-visual fx.
