Humanity's dumbest mistake...

Generalizing individuals because of their skin color. This must be the dumbest thing we have ever done and still do today. Everything is blacks vs whites vs asians vs arabs. Just because a certain group of people shares a similar skin tone does not mean they share the same beliefs, morals, ethics or lifestyles. Skin color is no different than eye or hair color. They are unique features that make us different and create the beauty of variety.

Every person is different, and if you judge people based on their skin color, then you are a hateful human being that needs to reconsider your perspective.

Stop the ignorance...

Unfortunately it's been rooted in our Psychology for Millennia. While many have "evolved" so to say, there will always be groups brewing hate. I see it from all sorts of people. Just recently I saw a post about a Black Man who wouldn't help a White Woman stuck in the snow because of a Trump Bumper Sticker. Now, that's bad... But what's worse were the comments I read saying that "That Cracker Bitch doesn't deserve anyone's help!" And "I hope that White Bitch froze to death!" Etc etc. Some were even worse. Of course it caused plenty of responses from Whites saying that "That lady was lucky, he'd have stolen her car and raped her!" and a bunch of Comments involving epithets I'd rather not mention.

The point is, I was disgusted at everyone. I was raised Conservative in ways of Big Govt but not in Civil Rights. We were taught to treat everyone the same. If you don't crap on my lawn, I won't on yours. It was always about Respect. The Internet has allowed for this hate to breed at alarming rates. We truly are all the same. I'm not PC, I don't walk on egg shells, I'm not a White Guilt person but I'm for Equal Rights and Civil Liberties for EVERYONE.

While I do agree with you, there are a lot of aspects of it that are somewhat true. I've found that certain stereotypes do hold a lot of truth. I'm of German decent and I have to admit that I do love beer, sausage, etc. I know that's a bad example, but it's true. Every species of animal can be categorized by breed and every breed of a species has district traits and personalities. Take dogs for example. Chihuahuas tend to be very hyper, have a lot of breathing issues and are prone to seizures. Greyhounds can be very fast and very hyper-diligent and attentive. Even dogs of the same breed can have distinct differences. Golden Retrievers and Labs are both retrievers but have very different attributes. Every species on the planet is like this, but when you try to apply that to humans you're automatically labeled a racist. There's the old adage that if you look at people who have no skin, you would never be able to tell the difference. That's far from the truth.

I don't believe dogs and humans can be interchangeable like that. While I do understand what you're saying, it has nothing to do with skin color, but rather with the upbringing and traditions that are common to a certain area. Many Germans do enjoy their beer, sausages and folk music, but that is not because of skin color. It is because of tradition. But there are also Germans that do not like beer or sausage and may prefer Asian food. People that come from the same place will share some interests and similar beliefs, but that is a cultural thing and even then, it does not apply to everyone. I guess my point is to get to know someone before you simply throw him in the same bag as everyone else that shares a similar skin color. It goes way deeper than that, and it is a shame that humans will point a finger at someone they know NOTHING about.

I do agree, and I can't argue that. Although I do have to point out that there are some biological differences between races that have been scientifically proven (certain diseases that only affect certain races, bone structures, etc.) not to mention the simple fact that race is discernible by DNA testing.
