Can someone please tell me what's the name of the song that is played on New Year's Eve celebration...just before Steve's speech...and Anita's (Salma) live performance. Is the song when the crowd is counting down the seconds just before New Year's Eve. The same song is played in the background just a few scenes back...when Shane meets Julie and she's the date of Rollie...and she sais that her career is most important....

i haven't watched the movie but i listened to one of the songs from the soundtrack,and i really loved it.It is called "If you could read my mind" by Stars on 54 .Amazing song ,maybe it is the one you are looking to find

Mmm... The version of "Stars on 54" (Amber, Ultra Naté and Jocelyn Enriquez) was originally recorded by Viola Wills in the 80's. Love that song!
