A director's cut is great beyond words.

The director's cut of "54" is a must see!! It is a very very different vision and story of Shane then what MIRAMAX put out. The irector's cut is solid and is a must must see.

I just read online that the director's cut of 54 was shown at Outfest in LA. Much better than the version released 10 years ago. Hopefully other gay film fests will show this around the country which could lead to a new DVD release.

I think it would be smart to put the directors cut out on dvd. It's just added profits in the end,, plus it would broaden 54"'s market...
