It the one thats playing in the club when Shane walks in for the first time.

I've been wondering this myself. There's only a VERY brief sample of the song, before the music segues into "Keep on Dancin'" (Gary's Gang) as Shane follows the girl up the stairs into the balcony. Whatever the song is, it's not on the 2 soundtrack CDs.

i just solved that prob, i was asking myself... i just had that "Thunder and Lightning" on my mind, yesterday thay broadcasted it again.

i believe you mean:

Amy Stewart - Knock on Wood

but it's on the Soundtracks, that's what's wondering me...

nah its not Amy Stewart but Mary Griffin - Knock On Wood i just checked in soundtrack tracklist.
