Dottie died last month....
Ellen Albertini Dow, the actress who played Dottie, died on May 4th. You know how old she was? She was 101 years old! She would have been about 84 at the time of filming.
She was certainly one of the memorable characters in the film!
That is impressive that she made it to 101!
