One of my absolute favorites...

Does anyone know of plans to issue this on Blu-Ray?

IMDB doesn't show how this was filmed. Hopefully in 35 mm so that it will be possible to make a good HD transfer.

Amazon.com offers a "sign up to be notified when this title becomes available on Blu-ray," which only suggests there may be plans for it. No date is mentioned. I'd like to have it.

Well, they've released Band of Brothers. So HOPEFULLY we'll get a nice (NON DNR'd) release.
