I don't know what it is about this scene but I always love it. The way Steven Root plays it so well as Chris Kraft. Totally confident and reassuring but still a little self doubting... amazing.
Speaking of Stephen Root, I've just bought Season 4 of Boston Legal on DVD and it's strange how many FTETTM cast show up in quick succession. In a 4 episode spell from 15-18 we saw guest appearances from Stephen Root (Chris Kraft), Nick Searcy (Deke Slayton), Daniel Hugh Kelly (Gene Cernan), Tom Amandes (Harrison Schmitt), John Posey (John Young), and David Clennon (Professor Lee Silver).
