My review of all episodes
Can we Do This? - Very good opening. One of my favs. The special effects were quite good in this one.
Apollo 1 - Also a favorite. They way you would explain it would make it sound very boring but it was surprisingly not only interesting but dramatic and entertaining.
We Have Cleared the Tower - Probably my least liked as it was simply very boring. Even though it was interesting seeing things from the "pad's" perspective.
1968 - A decent one I have to say. Good to show the impact of the 60s era and the space program's impact on the people during that time.
Spider - Another favorite. I love the technical work and inspiration in this one and the connection people can have to something they work hard at.
Mare Tranquilitatis - Interesting about the relationship between Buzz and Niel but I was really surprised at how mediocre this one was. I still liked it but in the end it was surprisingly very "meh"
That's All There is - The comic relief episode. Very well done. I love it when shows and movies pull off character development and relationships and still be funny and entertaining.
We Interrupt this Program - Surprisingly bad. I understood when I watched it that Apollo 13 was just released and they didn't think it was necessary to get all technical. Ok, but seriously? They didn't show the spacecraft or the astronauts once in this one. They wanted to show a different perspective but kinda over did it. Also that young reporter dude was really annoying.
For Miles and Miles - Another least favorite. Cool to see Alan Shephard's story and what he went through but just didn't enjoy it enough. Too boring.
Galileo was Right - I have to say definitely my favorite one. Just because it had a very personal impact on me as I love science and this one really inspired me to do really good in school. I just loved the way they get really in depth with their science while exploring and examining the moon.
The Original Wives Club - This one was okay. Each story in it was good but it was confusing because it jumped around too much and was hard to follow. This is a perfect example of something that gets more enjoyable the more you watch it.
La Voyage Dans La Lune - A lot of people don't like the weird telling of the French movie story and I'm not sure it needed to be there either. Even though it was interesting. Overall I liked this one just because of the major impact the ending had on the whole series and how they wrapped it up.
Overall definitely my favorite miniseries of all time. Thank you Mr. Hanks and everyone who worked on it.
