Robert Englund pukes out one ugly ass monster thing. That's all you see. He than comes back to life at the end of the movie, along with all of the other victims, Wishmaster killed.

Houdini didn't die in a water tank, the Djin actually says that Houdini escaped it in, a certain amount of time, I'm not sure.
Houdini actually died in a stunt were he was hit in the stomach by a big walking wall of a guy, the idea was if he tensed his stomach up he would be fine, I'm not sure whether this theory was flawed or he forgot to tense his stomach, but he died.

Both The Candyman and Freddy Krueger get killed by the Djinn. Freddy and Jason tied, therefore the Djinn could beat Jason too.
To conclude, the Djinn from Wishmaster would win if every movie monster ever had a battle.

I thought Johnny Valentine's supposed death was a bit silly because his wish was to escape which would mean that the Djinn should grant his escape from the tank.
