Wes Craven?

What does Wes Craven have to do with this movie? He didn't direct or write it. Did he produce it? Was it a ploy to get people to watch it or something?

reply

Well, Wes Craven was executive producer of this film after the success of "Scream". I guess, he wanted to make some money and he knew the director a bit, after working with Craven in the "Scream Trilogy", "The People Under the Stairs", "Wes Craven`s New Nightmare" and "A Vampire in Brooklyn". Since the director of Wishmaster is a make-up effects artist.

Wes just stuck his name on it to give it some publicity, he had nothing to do with it, maybe some creative ideas but nothing else.
In return, the company gave him a share of the movie's profits...

It's so fluckin bullspit when they do stuff like this in hollywood. It's bait and switch and people feel cheated. Imo, they should get bad publicity for stuff like this.
