I remember this movie scared me... quite a bit, at least impressed me and shook me up. It stuck in my head as one of the higher quality horrors I've seen. Why did it get only 5.2 stars here..? What do horror fans friggin except from movies nowdays? Rape and torture? :( No, but really, it deserves more, doesn't it?
shareI first saw it when I was 12 and at the time I thought it was the best horror film I'd ever seen. The special effects are amazing, there is tons of gore, and the idea of someone turning wishes against you was an interesting premise.
I rewatched the film a few months ago and it still holds up almost as well as I remembered it. It's certainly one of my all-time favourite horror films.

I gave it a 6 cos the ending sucked. The rest of the film was as you said above, good story, clever, funny in parts and great SFX. The last wish though...eurgh, why didn't she just do that at the start...dumbass broad
