The music on the trailer is not used in the film nor is it in the original soundtrack recording. I am not sure what the piece is but I know it was used only for the trailer.

Some of the music used in the trailer for THE WINGS OF THE DOVE comes from Patrick Doyle's HENRY V (The Battle of Agincourt) and other bits were borrowed from MRS. BROWN and other Miramax films. The music for the film itself was composed by Edward Shearmur.

I actually love Edward Shearmur's score. I find it hauntingly beautiful. I bought it when the film first came out and still listen to it from time to time today.
