I have seen i rain in LA. The cars keeps skidding on the highway as the oil on the surface mixes with water!

I choose to believe that there was some atmospheric b.s. going on that I wouldn't understand. Heat and ash interference, whatever. Hence, rain. I'll believe anything to enjoy a movie.

L.A. had a ton of rain in 1997. A little thing called El Nino.

There was a big El Nino 1982/1983 also. We're overdue.

Everyone's seen "Grease." That wash where they had the car race, that's one of many in Southern California, all this cement to get the water from these storms, off the roads.

All the ash in the air probably acted as seed for the moisture in the air. A lot of water was being vaporized when that flow hit the ocean.
