major gaff in film

FORGET ALL MISTAKES LISTED BY I.M.D.B. THIS ONE TAKES THE BISCUIT!!!!!
about 15mins from the end liotta is axe-ing his way through the cockpit door
when teri the flight attendant gets out of the pilots chair and goes to the door, liotta then reaches through his newly made hole and grabs teri by the neck and starts to throttle her, while this is happening the "escort" fighter jet shoots off the ford truck stuck on the landing gear..... (stay with me)
........teri then looks calmly out of the window at the plane from the comfort of the pilots seat with her headset still on and no hole in the door!, after we see the fighter pull away we rejoin teri being strangled and the film continues on gaff free

most people dont seem to notice due to pace (this take about 3 seconds) and because they probobly stopped paying attention half an hour erlier. how can any editor be so stupid as to miss this and did any one out there actualy realise this!!!!!!!
