I don't see why everyone keeps knocking this movie. I like it. Its not worth owning unless I saw it in the bargin bin for like $3. But its a decent movie and Ray Liotta is amazing. I only watched it because Tommy Vercetti was in it ;) but I was pleasantly surprised!

It's the most inaccurate and insulting film I've ever seen. The fact that the makers of the film believed that any of us would be impressed by this film, and let it off for its inaccuracies, would be insulting to anybody's intelligence...

I found it entertaining and would watch it again...
this was a fun movie to watch sure it was a bit far fetched but its a movie so that happens, liotta is again superb as a nut let loose to run wild and kill afew people some people dont seem to understand when to let go and enjoy a movie for what it is what the people making were trying to do because this was never ment to be a true to life film, the makers no things would never happen in real life because its not possible and they say that on the dvd its ment to be an hour and a half of fun with some psycho energy thrown in to spice the story up get a grip some people this isn't raging bull or goodfellas its not based on a true story so it has to mirrior real life possibiltys just watch and enjoy
shareI can see where some people come from, certain things in this movie I agree with are Terrible, but you know what? The only reason I've watched this movie the times I have, is because of one Ray Liotta... He is just awesome, and I'm tellin you what, he is so amazing as an actor, Plus a few of his best movie lines are in this movie. I'm not gonna say it's the greatest movie but it's ok I'd give a 5.5 out of 10
shareMaybe I'm an optimist (or just a sucker for a Liotta film), but I'd go as far as 6.5. Good action and at least one character is actually interesting enough to pay attention to, and he's the main reason to watch anyway! I dunno.... psycho characters are often show-stealers anyway (ie Pitt in 12 Monkeys?) but Ray Liotta sets the bar a bit higher in this one. Crap movie, but that character makes it worth watching a few times.. if nothing else to memorize the one liners.

The idiocy of the characters in this movie is baffling. In what situation is one to ever trust a serial killer? Really. Ray Liotta is the only good thing about this movie but it still hurts. Lauren Holly is a waste of space. The rest of the people on board say barely anything but still fail at looking like convincing hostages.
I'll take Air Force One over this pile of crap anyday.
Lots of people trust them, that's how some get their victims. It is also why some wind up getting married after being convicted. She decided she liked him before she found out why he was arrested.
shareI didn't find anything wrong with this film. I don't watch disaster films in general, but this film is one of the better disaster films, and it was kinda funny in its way!
Ray Liotta's facial expressions were hilarious, if you didn't find his antics funny, you better check your pulse.
i agree with you... its a pretty good but its not worth owning unless you find it cheap. i defenitly didnt think that this movie was bad!

I guess they wanted to leave room so that Lauren Holly and the convict could run around? Plus, there needs to be enough room so that she doesn't immediately realize he's a nutcase.
Airlines don't really bother with all that Christmas ornamentation on the plane do they? It's eats up room and if the plane has turbulence or other issues, it would be in the way.
