I just sorta watched this movie but was flipping channels between it and something else. Is the training pilot who talks her down the fiance she just broke up with? I missed the beginning of the movie. Or is she just happy to see him because he helped her land the plane?

I just watched this last night.
I don't think the training pilot is the fiance. Wouldn't she recognize his voice and say something earlier if he was? I think he was a stranger, just happy to see her land safely.
Yes, he was a stranger. She never knew him until he began instructing her to land the plane.

The "training pilot" was Ben Cross, who is very famous. WHY WAS HE EVEN IN THIS PRODUCTION?
P.S. This is NOT the worst movie ever made. But it's very uneven (that's being kind).
