Because they edited a part of Speed just for the airline version (part where bus speeds into plane). Can they show movies like this on airlines?

I have flown a few times with virgin atlantic and "THE AVIATOR" and "Flight of the PHx" were both shown in flight once :(

I was once on a flight to China where they looped BRIDGET JONES DIARY PART 2 for the entire flight ... it was a living-Hell of a nightmare... I'd much rather have been watching DIE HARD 2 or SPEED or something ........ twelve hours of BRIDGET JONES?? I've never felt so trapped in my life!!

yeah, that would have been nice - but it was on the screen in the center/front of the aisle... eeeeh!! I'm still in agony! haha

I heard years ago that films of these themes are banned simply due to common sense. It's also parodied in Airplane!.
