Did he have sex with his fake wife? I mean, it seems like they should have let it play out with who Truman liked, and who liked him back... Rather than script a future wife...

It seems that yes, he would. Didn't the waitresses say that the camera would pan over to the curtains or something during that?

I'm not sure how that would be okay though. Wouldn't that make his wife a prostitute, since she was being paid to be with him?

She is an actress. Most actresses have real or simulated sex as part of their job, as do most actors. That makes them prostitutes, of a sort, in the real world.

I wonder if his TV wife had a true love outside the show? We do know she does leave him at the end of the movie.

Apparently Hannah, the actress who plays Meryl, got paid $10,000 every time they slept together.

He lives his life in a bubble so perhaps he was nvr taught what it meant to (as u would put it) "Hitting it". They may have had him watching love movies that were PG rated and his idea of making love was maybe just getting to 2nd and/or 3rd base.

the two chubby security guards that were always watching the show when they were working were the ones who mentioned whenever he had sex with his fake wife the camera would pan over to a window or some imagery like that

Well Truman's wife was suppose to want a baby, according to script, and if they wanted to have a real pregnancy and everything, he would have to be lead to have sex with her at some point, and no what sex is, and everything. It's safe to assume they were actually having sex, but the show is so sick when you think about it, that that's not a stretch or anything as to how they manipulate Truman.

The Director wanted a baby, in the cut scene from the movie as well as the script they spoke about how they were planning a second channel for Truman's baby. When you look at it the actors in the show that were closest to Truman were most likely high functioning sociopath's. His best friend from childhood his wife, his parents, each of them felt no real connection to Truman as a person and merely viewed him as a prop. You have to wonder how the actors themselves really viewed Truman.

You don't have to teach a human how to have sex... it's innate. I'm sure he'd figure it out.

I take it that the cameras are all fixed, so while they can choose which ones to use to broadcast the staff sees everything 24/7. They probably even had a 2nd adult channel for paid viewing...

To see or not to see that is the question...
