God and god

I've read before from people who see this as an atheist or at least Anti-Christian story.

As others have written, Christof's character, who represents God, created a world and sent someone in - Truman, who represents Jesus.

This so called version is that more or less this god made a specific life to sacrifice for all others without choice. But once this sacrifice figured out the plan they changed the possibilities, told their god no and would not be a sacrifice for others.

I did not like that interpretation. I see similar, but not an Anti- story. I see a story about a single people who is trying to be a god, tries to have all the power and can control, yet truly doesn't know how to use that power so others with free choice can win.
