They should remake a much darker version.

wow, the twilight zone is mentioned all over this board, and i came here to suggest if you want a similar theme to check out the episode "a world of difference" in the 1959 tv series, but i see more people have noticed the similarity, all the time i realise major movies are based on episodes in that series. i'm not saying it's an identical story, by the end this guy steps into "reality", while the twilight zone story takes quite the different turn. when i was a kid i found truman's "show girlfriend" in this annoying, today i love watching her part, it's so over the top, also some people i was watching it with found truman's friend such a horrible guy playing truman all along as while watching the sundown scene.

I actually found this movie super dark in all of its cheery politeness. It's super cruel when you think about it.
