However sad I would love it. Someone always taking care of me and throwing love-interrests at me. A best friend to always be there. The one big thing that really bugged me is child-years. He would have to grow up with child actors. Do they really never give the truth away. Seems unreal.

I think it's a pretty tragic existence. In the event you find out the truth, you begin to realize all those emotions you had were forced, and nobody around you actually likes you for who you are...even deeper still, "who you are" is the meticulously woven construct of a creative hand watching your every move. This is because any decision you've ever made would have been weighed against the possibilities of the show, and shut down immediately if it didn't vibe.
Truman lived a stifled existence, where his dreams would have to be constantly reined in, in order to keep him contained. If we exclude the more-than-likely possibility that you are tipped-off by someone from the outside, I would have to imagine you'd be living a life that never quite feels fulfilling/authentic. Devoid of challenge or real surprise. If you decided to just sit around, something would intervene in order to ensure ratings. It'd be like never quite having a say in your own destiny, as you are doomed to the restraints of the artificial microcosm you call home.
Then again, for some, ignorance might truly be bliss...
I guess when you really think about it.... it can't be too bad living as Truman compared to being in the outside world. But no, ultimately it's not something I would want to be a part of (or am I already a part of it? Are you?).
