I know Joann Cusac (however you spell it) was the speaking voice for Jesse, but what about the singing voice? Was it also Joann Cusac who sung during that song?

Sarah McLachlan sang that song. Jesse herself didn't sing it, it was just a song that played while we saw Jesse's memories.
