Prospector's prediction
I find it interesting how Prospector telling Woody that Andy won't take him with him to college foreshadows the events of Toy Story 3.
shareYeah, you are right. It is indeed very interesting how he predicted the events of the third movie.
He was right that kids stop caring about their toys when they become adults.
But that doesn't excuse his attitude towards Buzz and other Andy's toys.
He also mentions that the toys would spend "eternity in some landfill", which the toys almost did
shareActually the toys in TS3 wouldn't have been in a landfill for eternity. They were nearly incinerated. That said, while flipping through channels we also got a glimpse of Lotso in a commercial.
