Jessie could have prevented her traumatic past

When Jessie fell behind the bed, she had plenty of opportunity to crawl out. It's not like Emily was looking at her when she fell; she didn't know she was down there. Also, as time went by, the other Woody's Roundup merch was hidden under the bed. Surely not all of it would have fallen down the back of the bed. It must have been put there, in which case Emily would have spotted Jessie.

Granted, Emily would still have lost interest in Jessie when she reached teenage, but a lot of Jessie's grief could have been prevented.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

There was no way that she could have prevented her traumatic past. Jessie crawling out from under the bed wouldn't have made a difference. Jessie was bound to end up trapped in a box sooner or later. Unfortunately, Jessie was doomed the moment Emily started venturing into her teen years. It was only a matter of time before she was put into storage.

If Emily really wanted Jessie, she would have been searching for her like crazy, she would have eventually been found. Plus, she tossed all of her cowgirl roundup things in there proving, she was over Jessie, plus, she re-decorated her room.

At the time when Emily pulled the pillow from under her, she was still a little girl. Therefore, coming out from under the bed would've brought Jessie a little more time with her (1 year Maximum!!).

But eventually, Emily would've eventually ventured into her teens causing her to lose interest in her toys and pack them away under a bed, in the garage, or in the storage. Like Stinky Pete said! Kids grow up and there's nothing toys can do about it!
