Uber Guru Expert James Cameron Gives Masterful Advice For Those Diving To The Titanic

https://youtu.be/rThZLhNF_xg

This is why he's the foremost expert on deep diving. He's been to the Titanic wreck 33 times already without any issue. Everyone else followed the rules and standards on safety. He rode with the Russian's that had an impeccable record on those dives.

Stockton Rush be like, "COVID VACCINE!? For my age group? FAKE NEWZ!"

reply

Yeah Rorikon.

One of the YT comments:

"He should of hired the 50 year old white guy. He made it to 50 because he knew what he was doing. That's all the inspiration you need."

Ha ha ha ha

Gallows humor perhaps but it made me laugh.

reply

It's fitting that Rush was destroyed by his own monstrous creation, the thing he made in defiance of safety standards and common sense! That's how dangerous mad scientists are supposed to go out, it's a trope.

It's just a damn shame four other people had to die with him.

reply

it survived over 50 test dives to that depth

reply

Uh, it still imploded and killed everyone inside!

What I've been hearing is the thing was a piece of crap, dangerously shoddy, and lacking in all the safety precautions that anyone else would insist on, and normally piloted by some kid who won't have the experience to know when things are getting unsafe. THAT is why that Rush creep didn't want to hire the 50-year-old submarine pilots, they'd abort a dive if they had safety concerns. So yeah, the thing survived a bunch of dives, but it still, you know, imploded and killed everyone inside.

reply

50 plus safe dives says you've heard wrong

reply

Uh, five dead people shows I have a point.

Why are you defending that dirtbag? He killed himself and four other people!

reply

Except for that 51 dive eh? Meanwhile all other dives from the other 10 deep submersibles have yet to implode from all these years.

Completed in 2017 and tested in 2018-2020 with only a 2-3 year shelf-life when they finally did tourism trips. I say the carbon fiber hull gave way due to end of shelf-life discount purchase.

reply

I have way more respect for James Cameron now after learning more about his deep sea submarine dives and the fact he pulled it off unlike the Oceangate CEO.

reply

The real GOAT is a guy named Victor Vescovo. Cameron mentions the company that built the best DSV's currently in existence.

wow thats terrifying to think they knew they were in danger and tried to ascend when so close to Titanic, just about 300m away

I think the two Pakistani guys were clueless, but if the hull started making noises, I think the other more experienced with submersible guys would have crapped their diapers right before the implosion.
