Any connection?
i caught this movie on hbo a few months back and i really enjoyed it
it had similar themes to my all time favorite movie of the the same name(a penelope spheeris film form the 80's)
is there a connection
Suburbia 1984 was one of the best movies ever. That's why I gave this one a chance.
At first I was all angry because I thought maybe Bogosian was trying to rip it off. But now I've come to appreciate and respect it by itself.
But no, I honestly think there is nothing related to the two except the name and the themes.
Surburbia 1984 was about 'losers' and 'rejects' who were actually rejected, kicked out of their homes and products of a screwed up childhood.
The new one is just yay I have a great life and don't want to do anything with it except complain. But cheers to the Buff and Sooze. ;)
