Teenagers?
I felt like these people were more like in there early to mid twenties. The plot outline on imbd says something about this being a film about teenagers.
Were they really supposed to be teenagers?

no, i'm guessing not. seeing as all of the characters have graduated, one of them has had time to become a famous folk star, one of them can legally buy alchohal, and they remenise about their highschool days rather then talk about it like it just happened. i guessed that most of the characters were around 21 or 22, give or take a year for some of them.
sharethey are pretty young. different age groups anyway. think about this... dont you have a friend old enough to buy alcohol? most teenagers DO have that 1 friend that can do that. and they are probably the only one, that is, if its not a fake id. but yeah, they are all pretty much teenagers.
shareThey all graduated togheter. And he bought alcohol because he was in the army and was like a high school's football star
shareI always assumed that they were in their early 20s... because they just seemed that way to me. That and the fact that they have had some time to do things... you know? I mean, Tim was able to join the military... get past basic... and be discharged. Jeff had enough time to drop out of college(I find people usually do that after a year) and has already started taking another class. Pony has had time to become famous. Also, they act embarrassed to still be living with their parents.
