How to email Warner Brothers to request a 'subUrbia' DVD release
I'd post URLs, but the site seems to change so much that I'm not sure they'd remain active. And they'd see that all the pageclicks were coming from this thread, and might not take it as seriously SO:
1. Go to the Warner Bros website at http://www.warnerbros.com
2. Find the "Help" section (if you're on any of the subsites, i.e. "Movies", "DVD", "Television", it should be in an orange bar at the bottom of the screen, next to "Site Map" and "Jobs" and whatnot)
3. Click "Other FAQs" on the left
4. At the bottom of the page, under "I have read through all the FAQs and I still have a question. What do I do?" there is a link that will take you to the page to Customer Service.
5. Fill in all the fields (Under "This is regarding: ", I'm assuming you select "DVD / Video [Title Requests]")
Let them know that you want to see subUrbia released, and tell them why! As it has been stated before, they don't liscence their movies out to companies like Criterion, so it would likely be futile to make such a request. But convince them that there is a market to profitably release this film on DVD, as they're not going to unless they see that people truly want it. Many, many DVD releases have come as a result of fans letting companies know they're interested (Upright Citizen's Brigade Season 1, and Empire Records: Remix Special Fan Edition, to name a few off the top of my head).
So contact them, tell your friends to contact them, etc. Let's get this done!
