The End (Spoiler)
Was the girl dead in the end, or was she just passed out from the alcohol? I could never tell if she was shot and died or just passed out.
shareI didn't think she was dead. She didn't get shot because Tim shot in the air. It's inconclusive, we assume she'll end up in hospital, but my feeling it's not the point of the end of the movie, its more symbolic, of the characters, if they keep going on the way they do, something bad will end up happening. I suppose people want concrete endings, but to me what is the point of the whole movie, if the ending doesn't say something more universal.
shareShe dies, or at least is presumed to have died, in the play. Jeff's line "I think she's breathing" in the movie is actually "she's dead" in the play. I always wondered why they changed that.
