Parker Posey's character...

Was such a whore in this movie. One minute shes alone and partying with nicky katts character and the next shes spending the night with steve zahn's character in the motel. She was turned onto katts character first cuz of the way he was and then totally goes for zahn's persona as the biggest drunk, crazy idiot around. Totally the opposite people but whatever!

Alright, one thing I missed the first time I watched this movie is that she never did "get it on" with Katts' character. Simply because he couldn't get it up, which is a massive contradiction to the masculine tough guy image that he tries to portray throughout most of the movie.

Would you not have *beep* her senseless?

If given the chance, I definitely would, even with whiskey dick.

Yes, I would. Parker Posey was sexy in this movie

i think you guys are missing the bigger issue here...

the scene between katt and posey's characters where he clearly pigeonholds her and is completly right, serves the purpose pf showing us that they completly opposite of each other. they then have clearly different intentions...

erika is attracted to tim because he's the "bad guy" type, and she is clearly attracted to him because he treats her like *beep* which is how she really feels inside (low self esteem and all).

he goes with her cause she's hot right? but whiskey dick isn't the only responsible.... tim is still a smart guy with serious values ( however very crooked at times ie racism), still he is not able to get it on with her because he clearly despises her and doesn't even want any contact with her....
this is where whiskey dick comes in because maybe if he was sober he still would have boned her.....

as for erika she then turns (like any drunken horny girl who's just been shot down) to the most harmless accesible guy with a personality, which happens to be buff....

in short she is a total whore, but that's not all there is to it.....

reply

Disagree completely. The scene is symbolic of Tim's life - all talk, but nothing to back it up. From his self-inflicted wound to get out of the Air Force, to his near fight with Pony, to his threat to shoot the convenience store owner, he is just a big gasbag who's never able to finish what he starts.

reply

exactly! he also says in detail about beating a woman senseless.... lame!
