Did she quit or was she kicked out?

That's what I always thought but I saw a review where the commentator said she was kicked out.

I'm not sure about the book, but in the movie, they didn't really give any indication if she quit or was kicked out that I recall.

That incident wasn't in the book. In the book, Rico is participating in a field exercise where he's supposed to navigate using only the sensors in his powered suit. He cheats by raising his helmet visor so he can see, and he gets caught. His punishment is the same as in the movie.

Uhhhh yeah, I thought that was pretty obvious. She’s the one who joined because she wanted to go into politics and you gotta be a citizen for that so there she was.

Not exactly like Rittenhouse. Rittenhouse was using his right to self defense while the recruit who shot Breckinridge showed poorly trigger discipline and negligence.

she wasn't salvageable (like Rico)
so most likely kicked out
