This movie REALLY reminds me of an old classic....

...by the name of Gunga Din (1939). You got 3 big stars in Gunga Din (Grant, Fairbanks Jr., McLaglen) and 3 big stars here (Wahlberg, Clooney, Cube).

Both films are set during war, and both deal with recovering treasure.

I just think it's kind of cool.

It strikes me as a reworking of Kelly's Heroes with thematic elements from The Wind and the Lion.
