really not that bad
Not great but it's kind of fun and watchable.
But do teens today even remember the Spice Girls? It's weird that they now almost seem like a quaint memory.

Sure! I'm eighteen and the Spice Girls were pretty much my major childhood obsession!
I watched the movie with my best friend the other day actually, for old times sake. And the Greatest Hits album is on my iPod.
People don't talk about them much anymore, but you can never forget the power of Girl Power man!!
I absolutely love this movie; it's in my top 10.
I'm 16 and the Spice Girls are still my favorite artist(s).
I own the movie, watch it frequently, and have all of their songs on my MP3.

no one can forget them, everyones heard of them even if they dont know about them
look at Mean Girls, lol
Sweet as sugar, hard as ice, hurt me once I'll kill you twice~
It was more of a case of the girls having fun. Hell, you gotta have fun on a movie set sometimes. Not all movies should be made in a serious way.
shareThe biggest thing I hate about the movie (but this goes across the board for every movie that does this) is when they make pop culture references that really most people probably won't remember in five, six, seven, plus years, let alone twenty years down the line. Especially when you have a brand new audience finding this who never lived in that time period. I'm 25 now and can barely remember them, lol. With that being said, I still love it for what it is. I don't take it seriously, realize its no piece of art and go from there.

not a great movie or a great pop group but a ton of fun for those of us who were sick & tired of grungy boy bands with a messiah complex.
