shareI think it was all in fun for the movie. Mel B. and Victoria did the same stuff to Geri through out the movie. It was because Geri always blurted out some kind of useless info. Geri-"Did you know that the largest fish in the world is the manteray?" Victoria(clearly annoyed)-"...then there's a little ginger one that is full of useless information about materays." Victoria-(to a random woman at a party later on in the film)"..What do you think about Manterays?"

My goodness do I absolutely LOVE that set of lines! I just cracked up picturing that exact scene.
I think they were just being silly and trying to show how they would react to each other's 'personalities' (Poor Posh. "People think all I talk about is clothes or something") Geri was always spitting out random information and the girls thought it was ridiculous.
