My god this movie is awfull

Now I am such a huge Spawn fan of the comics and the animated series and back when this movie came out I was excited as hell.When I got into the theater and started to watch the movie it felt like going to hell and burning there for all eternity.This movie is one of the worst movies I have ever seen.Its so bad its not even funny.Worse than Batman & Robin,worse than Catwoman (2004 film).Because of this movie I stayed away of anything that had to do with Spawn for a year.I am hoping that they will make a reboot Spawn that has nothing to do with this movie.

what is wrong with YOU PEOPLE!

honestly The film is 12 years old and didn't have a huge budget so why complain about it? 14 years ago the Spawn comics were huge, then the film came out and it was huge. it's also one of the only Image movies ever made, so that should be cool right?

anyway i dont get all the hate on this movie. to say its worse than catwoman or batman & robin is also taking it a bit too far

It's...pretty damn bad. I saw it years ago, didn't like it and didn't really understand it. For some reason it was airing on cable this afternoon and I watched about 15 minutes of it. It's gotten much worse.

Appalling acting, appalling special effects, awful writing, parts of the story make no sense whatsoever.

I've watched reached about half way through and I couldn't finish it. That's the first film I've ever bought that I've done that with.

Ok, so the film is 12 years old, so what? Lets compare it to apples then, the Matrix, Terminator 2, Titanic...

there is no excuse for the poor effect of this movie and even if there was, there is no excuse for the appauling acting of all the actors save for the Clown.

It is unmistakably worse that batman and robin or catwoman.

that clown was awesome... i really did not like the movie but the clown was amazing. He was such a creep and he looked really good too. The rest of the movie had some pretty cheezy acting and bad lines... the CGI was bad, I really hate CGI in any movie. I have to remember that this was 97 but its no excuse for using such bad CGI. They should have just... done something else

but the clown earned a lot of "watchable" points for this movie
