Those are good. Hmmm, never been good at this, ummm...

Len Wiseman (Underworld, Die Hard 4)

Alex Proyas (The Crow, Dark City)

Cool. I was thinking Guillermo Del Toro, Christophe Gans, or Alex Proyas. David Fincher could possibly pull it off...I had never thought of him.

I just read in another post that Todd McFarlane is penning a new script! It has the source link, just look for it...he must be directing as well, because he already has the rating and tone of the film decided on.

Sounds good but it could be an old article, he was talking about a different tone nine years ago.

Alex Proyas, Guillermo Del Toro or Clive Barker. Clive could do it justice.

My #1 pick would be Alex Proyas, though. When I was introduced to the comic, I always envisioned a Spawn movie to have the same vibe/atmosphere as The Crow.

Fincher would obviously be the best. If not him... and I know I might get heat for this... I'd say Zach Snyder. As long as he had a good script to work with, it would be great. His movies always have a really interesting atmosphere, and I think 'Spawn' would definitely benefit from it.

Zack Snyder, Alex Proyas, or Guillermo del Toro. Fincher would never touch it, and Clive Barker seems to have no plans on returning to directing any time soon.

Basicly a director who loves the Spawn comics...

I think Alex Proyas would be ideal, but just throwing it out there. The Neveldine/Taylor duo. Their previous movies had all disregard for toning it down on the violence.

Proyas should do it
