Anyone?? I mean the first Spawn was maybe a lil rough around the edges, but I thought that movie even still kicks more ass than: Daredevil, Elektra, Spiderman etc.
And with the better technology behind special effects, the sequel could be a huge succes I think.
I have read a lot of Spawn issues back in the day, and the story is great for more movies.

I think if McFarlane & company get a better CGI budget this time the sequel CAN BE even better. I loved the practical FX. Overall enjoyed the 1997 (first) movie.
Sadly, it sounds like McFarlane wants to reboot.
I also wanted a sequel containing the original cast with the same Violator design. Apparently there may be a reboot underway.

A sequel would be good. Imagine Spawn going from brooding in an alley to (by the end) global take-no-prisoners grim reaper for hell-creatures on Earth just to try and get strong enough to rip Malebolgia's head off (since his powers will some day run out and he will be drawn back to Hell).
