If you think this is bad, Watch FAUST: love of the damned

A lot of people like to hate on Spawn and yeah, Spawn had a lot of flaws and it is by no means perfect, But when you compare Spawn to this:

Spawn ends up looking like a real masterpiece, a brilliant movie

Honestly... that Faust movie is probably one of the weirdest, most ridiculous, over the top movies I've ever seen in my life. One of the most bizarre movies I've seen.
That movie really makes Spawn seem like a really great movie. I am being honest.

The Story of Faust is very Similar to Spawn in fact.
Both movies have kind of the same plot, or At least they start the same way. (Guy is going to die, makes deal with the devil, gets powers, guy regrets making that deal and then starts to kill the Devil's henchmen etc)

but that movie really is all over the place as far as plot goes, the story changes midway and you have no idea wtf is going on, I really had to rewind Faust a bunch of times because I could not understand what the deal was. It was like they changed plots or scripts midway and they just kept filming.
Also The special effects are hilariously bad, Way WAY worse than Spawn, and just nothing makes sense.

I would Say Faust was Worth watching for the laughs it gave me. It made me laugh more than I would have expected from a dark superhero movie. There were some moments that I could not believe what I Was watching.

But if people really hate Spawn that much, They should really check out Faust, because I guarantee your opinion of Spawn would change drastically
