SECOND TO BEST SCI-FI ACTION MOVIE DESERVING A SEQUEL!!!

The first being Dredd of course :D.
Damn I watched Soldier as a kid probably before around 12-14 years and was so pissed off it didn't get a sequel. The ending itself speaks for a sequel - I had the feeling the ending was literally half of the movie when I watched it for the first time. I expected them to go in another universe and fight for domination/revenge or something :D.

Would be interesting to see further movies of this set of people. However, I think this film is best as its own stand-alone. Also, according to the writer, it is more or less a part of another universe, the Blade Runner universe. It is a side-quel to Blade Runner. Fortunately, there is another side-quel which is more of a direct sequel to Blade Runner. Blade Runner 2049.

The difference being that Soldier was actually written by one of guys who wrote Blade Runner, and the latest movie was not.

With the inevitable technology progress to replicate actors, face, body, voice, it could get sequels, if the money is no longer an issue in that possible future too, you can only pray you'll still be alive when such progress arrives though.

A sequel needed to happen with a few years. Kurt isn't gonna get that body back again. It's already been 24 years.
