Glad this is showing again.

Watching this on Cinemax right now. Haven't seen this movie in a good while.

Though a bit flawed and a little confusing at times, I always thought this was one of the most underrated, yet entertaining movies that came out in the '90s. I was a fan of the original series with Roger Moore. I wasn't that big on the Mission Impossible movies that came out around the same time.

Kilmer does a good job of showing off his acting chops with all of the different characters he plays. And I've always had a thing for Elizabeth Shue.

I can't think of the spelling of his name right now, but the actor that played Tratiak I found to be very good and interesting. A great villainous type. I remember him a little later in Eyes Wide Shut. And I also thought the actor that played Tratiak's son was an interesting looking and good villain as well.

One of those movies worth seeing more than once, and one to recommend to someone if they're looking for something entertaining and different. A good spy thriller.

Yup, I just finished watching it on Cinemax, too. Rade Serbedzija, who played Ivan Tretiak (the villain) has also recently been in X-Men First Class, Taken 2, and, of course, he was Boris the Blade in Snatch. He's a good bad guy.

I've always liked this movie. And, like you, I've always had a thing for Elisabeth Shue (ok, I still have a thing, but I used to have it bad for her). She's a good actress, but let's face it, she's one of the sexiest ladies to ever appear on the big screen. The chemistry she has with Val Kilmer is this movie is unreal. You can tell they weren't just acting. There was a genuine attraction between them. A genuine, intense attraction between them.

I don't care what movie is on, be it Cocktail, or the Karate Kid, the Saint. I'll watch it because she's in it. She's not only gorgeous, and talented, she's smart, too. I respect that she went back to Harvard, and completed her degree.

This isn't a perfect movie, but it's entertaining. That's why I watch a movie. I've seen this multiple times, and still enjoy it.
