Lucy Cohu

From the little bit that we see of Rebecca in this movie, you can tell that she's absolutely gorgeous. But Lucy Cohu in other photos is not very pretty at all. I was hoping to see what she looked like fully, but all I found online was pictures of her when she was older and not looking nice at all. How can there be such a difference? Is there anywhere I can find a full, nice picture of her?

I'm not sure to be honest.

I was puzzled as to why they showed only parts of her face and Rebecca from the back. Why the great mystery? I've just finished watching it having bought it from play.com. It was a great movie, a very enjoyable watch.

Charles Dance and Emilia Fox were teamed up again in a recent TV three-part mini called Fallen Angel. He's still a very attractive man! Good luck in finding some better photos!

I was very upset that they showed "parts" of Rebecca at all. The narrator of the book is Maxim's second wife (to whom Daphne du Maurier never gives a first name), and Rebecca is supposed to be a complete mystery to her and to the reader, which actually makes her more menacing, and makes the second wife's insecurity even more pathetic. Rebecca is, after all, the villainess in the story, not Mrs. Danvers or Favell. And evil is much more potent if it is unseen.
I do not seek to understand so that I may believe, but I believe so that I may understand.

I haven't seen many pictures of Lucy Cohu, but I agree from the shots you see of her, she is very beautiful. The movie was filmed 10 years ago so any current pictures of Lucy may not exactly resemble her "Rebecca" days . I do wish that we could see more of Rebecca in the film not just the eyes -- maybe see a movie before Rebecca died. That would be interesting plot.
