Whatever became of those (bronze?) statues that made up the memorial shown at the end of the movie? I've wondered about those for many years and I can't believe there wasn't already an existing topic about them.
R.I.P. - Saturday Morning Cartoons. You will be forever in our hearts.
There WAS a thread a year or two ago. It likely got wiped out. Anyway, the statue, last I saw, was sitting in some guy's garage next to his Ford (Lincoln Mercury?) Explorer...
Whoa! Hard to believe it wasn't sitting out front of a post office somewhere or in a U.S. Post Office museum. Thanks for the info. 😃
-Edit: Ahh, after clicking on the link I see that it's not actually bronze, it's just painted to look that way. A shame it isn't bronze. It would make a great tourist attraction.
HahA! Love these little tidbits of info about iconic movie props. While not exactly reaching iconic status, the Postman memorial did leave a lasting impression on me. If I had the space, and lived nearby, I probably would have placed a bid for this thing. Shipping for an item this monstorous would have been obscene.
When are you ever going to write something that actual doesn't require the dumbing down of ones IQ? I felt like I was as stupid as you when I tried to read anyone of your comments.
