lol it was laughable wasn't it, the bit with the kid missing the postman and then the postman turns and grabs the post from his hand in an epic shot that would of fit if costner was perhaps going back to save a man from being killed by bloodthirsty savages, but no, he was just going back to get the post and to continue postal service?? worst movie, at times i enjoyed it for what it was, ultimately i knew it was poor

That scene was symbolic of his truly accepting the mantle of, and actually becoming, The Postman.

Unless the poster is gay, not that there's anything wrong with that, they used masculine pronouns to describe their "day", so I assume the poster is female.
