I don't have much to say about the movie (very loud and a bit absurd) but I am aching to know where that swimming pool is. I have been there as a child. I can't put the pieces together. Please help. If you know - email me [email protected] - thanks in advance. E
shareAt one time there was one in the basement of the White House. Maybe we are to assume it's that one? But with all the senators and congresspersons and military around one would assume there would be several pools along with exercise areas.
Maybe we are to think it's in the Pentagon? That would make the most sense to me.

If you look around the pool area it appears to be a YMCA. I don't think the YMCA stuff are props.
My guess is it's a YMCA in New York city.
She has wet hair when she is walking down the hallway so we are to believe that the pool is either the one in the basement of the White House (doubtful because that would, most likely, be for the exclusive use of the President and First Family). I think we are to believe the pool is in an exercise area of the Pentagon, which makes sense.
Where is the *actual* swimming pool? Good question. On the Filming Locations page it indicates that they shot all over the world so the pool could have been most anywhere and with the addition of a few signs and props been made to look like it was anywhere else in the world.
