I feel sorry for that Beautiful grey Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

It was a Very Beautiful car.

It didn't deserve such a Lousy driver - Why the hell, he decided to crush the BMW 5-Series if the BMW was already unable to move?!

And off-course, that sad Explosive fate at the end...sad indeed...

Well, the car was not worth more than $25,000 at the time, it was probably used, and the movie itself made millions of dollars in revenue, so I'm sure they didn't mind destroying it. ;)

Just remember that people in Germany consider the Mercedes line like we do the Chevrolet.

Plus since the car was the "hero" of the scene most likely they were given several to crunch for no charge as a Product Placement write off.

Agreed. Clooney's character was a mass murderer. Morally no better than the terrorists.
