shareExactly, we don't know what room they were in, although we do get a shot of their bedroom at the end, anyone who has the movie can check if it's the same bed.
But that was obviously a shameless couple, having sex with the door open in a house that isn't theirs... I mean, who knows? I've heard stories of real people doing much worse than that, so it's not that far-fetched. Certainly not as far-fetched as other things in this film.
I always assumed it was Nick's and Ann's bedroom. That was kind of the set up of the whole misunderstanding. He looks into his bedroom and sees who he thinks is his wife having sex with someone else. As for them being "shameless" and having sex in a house that wasn't theirs with the door open, well couples are generally allowed to have sex together even when they're guests in someone else's house. And besides they had reason to believe they were alone at that point. Nick and his wife were at work and weren't supposed to be home.
shareYou are correct about that, but still you would think that by being a guest in someones house that at least you would have the common decency to have the door shut if you are going to have sex with your partner visiting someone. I know I would at least though. The only way that I would leave the door open is if I knew that no one was going to be home for quite sometime then I would more than likely leave the bedroom door open.
I just would not feel comfortable in leaving the bedroom door open if it was not my house though.
