OMG!!

Just caught the last 20 minuets of this on TV at like 2am and me and my mate haven't laughed so hard in ages.

YOU DIDN'T KILL ME, THAT WAS MY LIFE MODEL DOUBLE!

GENEIUS!!

This film was so bad that it was good.

reply

yea tell me about it. I was bored last night, just flicking through the channels when i saw david hasselhoff with an eye patch on and just knew i had to watch the film. His one liners were so good. Were the worst effects ive ever seen, and despite the pure badness of the film, i just absolutely loved it.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Well those are elements from the comic books (although they are called "Life Model Decoys" or sinply LMDs there) and Fury used them frequently. :-D

Best acting the hoff has ever done. classic film!

couldnt agree anymore...i've only thought of a film so bad it might as well be classed as comedy

reply

Even if the line itself was right from the comic book, they still should've changed it. It would take a genius in acting to say that line without making poeple laugh.

LET US ROCK AND LET US ROLL!!!!!

Yeah. David Hasslehoff really wasn't that bad in the role. I had really low hopes, and yet the movie was fun, in a campy sort of way.

I dunno who you'd get to play that role. Maybe someone who had enough clout to ad-lib over the crap lines in the script and have it on film.

reply

"No. You just killed my life model decoy. Useful little toy, isn't it?"

this movie was bad, when i saw who nick fury was i just started laughing, hasslehoff is the cheesiest actor ever! and why was he always sweating? even when its cold

reply

This one falls into the "so appalling it's good" category. If it was on now I'd probably watch it again

reply

come on, thats easy, he was infected with some sort of ...virus or desease or whatever-but don't mix that up with the biological weapon of destruction the incest-german-nazi-girl used to blackmail Shield.
Don't understnd, why people don't appreciate this movie for it's greatness.

David has a little bomb inside his eyehole. the mean hydra-soldiers look like nosferatu and dfavid is so invincable, he provides cover from explosions for his teammates.

reply

I just saw this movie today, and it was actually pretty darn good all things considering.

Oh, and of course he sweats profusely. Look at the clothing they make him wear. I mean, a full body leather suit? He probably lost twenty pounds during production, pouring out buckets of sweat underneath the film's lighting. :P

i don't care what anyone says. i enjoyed this film beginning to end so much i bought 2 copies just incase something happens to one. On the other hand i enjoyed it because i understand that it was made for TV, it aired only on Fox at first, the Budget was low, and it wasn't ment to be taken seriously.

Also it was supposedly a Pilot movie for a Fox Nick Fury: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D TV series that never took off.

reply

this is the most awesome cool and amazing film ever made.
really.
no sarcasm at all.
seriously.
i mean it.
this film is so cool.
no really.
it is.

the acting, the accents, the props, the fx... all top shelf stuff.

I really loved the movie too and thought it was good acting and nowhere over the top. The people, who doesn't know anything about Fury in forehand, are possibly those, who found the film campy. And I found Hasselhoff perfect for the role and being a good actor - I never understood why people have to say, it's bad acting or it's a bad movie, just because it's Hasselhoff - come on, he made a perfect job as Nick Fury!
