nah jade was just purposefully stupid in the movie,and i didnt mind jax,some of the lines werent meant to be FUNNY(check out angry movie nerds Teenage mutant ninja turtle review for REAL corny lines)

also the girl who played sindell was a HORRIBLE actress,thats all
ok Jax's comment on raidin thinking hes moses parting the red sea was cheesy

i did like Shao Kahns line:Rain,this will never happen again

Jade trying to not blow her own cover was some of the corniest things I've seen. Especially when she says "Perhaps... they followed us!"

Edit: ROFL I'm watching this movie right now and it has freudian slip ups all over the place.
Jade: After she blasted you... I surprised her from behind!

In my opinion, I'd have to say that the corniest lines are when Kitana states the obvious.

(After Outworld assassins dropped from the skies and Shao Kahn makes his entrance) "Somehow he has opened gateways into your world!"

(After Liu Kang ducks to avoid getting skewered by 2 Tarkatans) "It's a trap, Liu!"

(After Barakka(sp?) roars from a ledge above, drawing Liu Kang's attention, and he's staring right at him) "Up there!"

...for half the movie, I was expecting one of the characters to turn to Kitana and go "Gee....ya THINK?!??!?"

I bet Talisa Soto doesn't put this movie on her resume...

I really hated that they did the Animality. That was too much. I would rather have seen Liu do his flying kick or Sonya bank off something to simulate her square wave punch.

(When Raiden appears with his hair cut short, and new outfit)

Scorpion: "Suckers!!!" (that one was just...awful, lol)

(After Jax discovers the power of his new mechanical arms)
Jax: "Whoo - I wish I had these babies back in high school!"

I like to watch the movie with the mute button on and un-mute for the rockin' sound track during the fight scenes. Then the mute goes right back on. It's just too painful otherwise... I'm hope the actors got paid well to say that stuff.

It wasn't just the lines, but how they were said. "Earth is under attack...and it is GLORIOUS!" No wonder they didn't let that guy talk too much when he was on the x-files.

Of the course the worst will always be the first one mentioned..." Too bad YOU...............will die."

And also the meaningless line "What closes can also open again."

"If those bars could keep me away from YOU, Sheeva, I would WELCOME THEM!"

Don't forget the redundant line by Sub Zero, "Let's hope you succeed..."

I'm at work so I don't have time to write out the entire screenplay,
but pretty much anything Jax says.

the thing remember really hating the most, not really a line, is Rayden's first fight with a ninja. where they both throw like 17 roundhouses at each other and...DON'T...LAND...A...SINGLE...ONE!

I don't think I've seen a movie that had lousier script writing than this piece of garbage. The MKA script was so awful and incoherent it sounded like it wasn't proofread. I don't blame Lambert, Wilson or Ashby for turning it down. I would've done the same.
