Sorry, I see a few bad posts about this movie, but I loved it (Let me say why). I thought it was a nice touch with the bugs mimicing us and I got a few jumps when I first saw it. Some parts were not as good though, I would be interested in them releasing the one the director done and wanted it to be like as I like his work. I would give it an 8 out of 10 because it was like one of the first creature movies I saw and liked. The sequels are alright for S-T-D ones, but they kind of lack.

Do you think they may do a reboot of Mimic? I mean, they are dooing it for pretty much everything.

I agree. This ways a pretty well done "creature" movie. They made the predator insects creepy without making them "cheesy" like so many films featuring classic "monsters". I also gave it an "8". I think sometimes people are too quick to label any 'creature based' movie as awful as if they were all in a class with those dreadful 'made for' the Sci-Fi (Sy-Fy) TV Channel wastes.

I just popped this one into the drive. Some of my coolest friends have either recommended this movie to me or have just mentioned it. I was going to save it for the weekend but I feel like I need to watch this one right now :D
